NEW PARISHIONERS: are always welcome! If you wish to be registered, please complete the New Parishioner form in the Bulletin and return it via the collection basket.

  • All Roman Catholics living in our parish boundaries are automatically parishioners of our parish, unless they have chosen to be registered in another parish.  Anyone residing outside our boundaries MUST register with our parish if they wish to receive services from our parish family. Registration information is included in our parish bulletin.

BAPTISMS: are celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays in the afternoon for registered parishioners.  Baptismal preparation is required.  Contact the parish office to make arrangements.

MARRIAGES: couples must confirm their intentions to wed at least six months prior to the proposed date (one year is preferable). A Marriage Preparation Course is mandatory. Non-parishioners will need a letter of permission from the parish where they currently reside.

FUNERALS: the decision regarding date and time of a funeral Mass or prayer service is made collectively between the family, parish and funeral director. The parish office provides guidelines and assists families in making liturgical arrangements.

BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENTS: are to be received by the parish office no later than Tuesday morning to ensure publication in the following Sunday’s Bulletin. Announcements are subject to space availability.

DAILY MASS SCHEDULE: may change. Please refer to the weekly schedule published in the Bulletin and on our website.

MASS INTENTIONS: offering masses for those who have died and the living has been a long-standing Catholic tradition. Mass intentions can be scheduled at the parish office. Offerings are $15 (published) and $10 (unpublished), as set by the Archdiocese of Ottawa.

MINISTRY TO SICK AND SHUT-INS: hospitals in the Ottawa area have Roman Catholic Chaplains who can assist you with your spiritual care needs, during your hospitalization. Parishioners who are home bound and unable to attend Mass should notify the parish office to arrange a home visit.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS: our parish serves St. Anne Elementary where the Eucharist is celebrated regularly. The parish website has a link to the school.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS (RCIA): non-Catholics interested in becoming full members of the Catholic Church participate in the RCIA process. This takes place from October through Easter. For information, please contact the parish office.

PARISH MINISTRIES: we welcome volunteers in all our Ministries (ushers, choir, Eucharistic ministers, readers, altar servers, children’s liturgy and office volunteers). Ministers are encouraged to be faithful to the schedule and find a replacement when not available.  Please contact the parish office for further information.

PARISH ORGANIZATIONS: include Knights of Columbus, Catholic Women’s League and the Legion of Mary.  Further information is available on our website. New members are always welcome!
