Mission Statement

The Catholic Women’s League of Canada is a national organization rooted in gospel values calling its members to holiness through service to the people of God.

“Our patroness is the Blessed Virgin Mary, under the title of Our Lady of Good Counsel”.  We embrace Our Lady as our role model, and pray through the intercession of Our Lady of Good Counsel – whose feast is celebrated on April 26 by the Church in Canada.

Who we are

The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) Council at St Patrick Fallowfield 994 received its charter on October 7, 1944 and has been an active participant in parish life ever since. We continually welcome new members, and warmly invite female parishioners who are 16 years or older to join in our journey of faith, fun and fulfillment! Any woman interested in joining our organization may contact the parish office.

We hold three major fundraising events in the year:  our Pie Sale in the fall, a Christmas stocking campaign in late October and a bake sale in December.

When and where we meet

We meet on the second Tuesday of every month (September through June), in the parish hall at 7:00 p.m.
