SUMMARY:Iconography Master Class with Serhii Kolodka
DESCRIPTION:We are blessed to welcome Serhii Kolodka\, an iconographer trained in Lviv\, Ukraine\, to our parish this November. Serhii is not only an exceptional artist but also a man deeply rooted in faith and prayer. During his time here\, as he begins preliminary work for the church ceiling\, Serhii will offer a unique opportunity for parishioners to participate in a master class on writing the icon\, “The Face of Jesus Not Painted by Hands.” \nThis ancient icon carries profound spiritual significance\, and participants will be guided through both the artistic and prayerful aspects of the process. Under Serhii’s direction\, each participant will write their own icon\, learning this beautiful and sacred art form. \nThe master class will take place from Thursday\, November 7th to Saturday\, November 9th\, in the Boardroom of the Msgr. Baxter Hall. Sessions will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The cost of participation is $300 per person\, which includes all materials necessary for the course. With only seven places available\, early registration is encouraged. \nTo reserve your spot\, please contact Father Paul at the parish office.
