Cor: Prayer, Formation, and Fraternity for Men
Cor is a gathering for all men of St. Patrick’s Parish who want to grow in faith, strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ, and build genuine fraternity with other Catholic men.
Hosted by the Knights of Columbus Council No. 11271, Cor is open to all men of the parish. You do not need to be a member of the Knights of Columbus to participate.
What is Cor?
Cor is Latin for “heart.” The program takes its inspiration from Blessed Michael McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus, who understood the call of every man to holiness and to live his vocation with faith, courage, and responsibility.
Cor continues that mission by helping men place Christ at the centre of their lives.
Its purpose is simple: to form and strengthen Catholic men in faith and virtue by drawing them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, formation, and fraternity.
What to Expect
Cor gatherings are informal and welcoming. Men come together for:
- Prayer that helps deepen their relationship with Christ
- Formation in the Catholic faith and the Christian life
- Fraternity through conversation, fellowship, and mutual encouragement
- Coffee and donuts and time to get to know other men of the parish
There is no expectation that you already have everything figured out. Cor is a place to learn, pray, ask questions, and grow alongside other men seeking to live their faith more intentionally.
Who Can Attend?
Cor is open to all adult men of St. Patrick’s Parish, whether or not they are members of the Knights of Columbus.
If you are looking for a deeper prayer life, a stronger understanding of your faith, or simply an opportunity to connect with other Catholic men, you are welcome.

The first Cor gathering will be held on Monday, September 14.
Come as you are and join your brother parishioners for prayer, formation, fraternity, coffee, and conversation.
