The Pastoral Council is an advisory and consultative group to the pastor. Its purpose is to assist the pastor in carrying out his responsibilities, provide advice and serve as a sounding board for the pastor and his assistants, plan and coordinate the policies and goals of the Parish in accordance with the norms laid down by the Diocesan Bishop, identify the spiritual and temporal needs of the Parish through prayer, reflection and dialogue, endeavour to answer those needs by developing policies and setting goals to build a caring Christian community which values the diverse backgrounds and gifts of its members and to support all members of the parish community.
